Romantic Paris in 2 days and Proposal

The following is a journey-visit-type. Take it as an example!
Visits will take place from Monday to Sunday at a fixed rate.
Most of the journey is made on foot unless the distance between two visits is too long. We will get on a bus then.
Once the booking is made, you will receive a survey from us in order to know your likes and special demands. We will make our best to set the perfect journey that will stand out in your lives…

Time: 8 hours each day approximately.
The first visit day is described on section Romantic Paris in 1 day & Proposal.

Second day description:
- Departure at 10 am.

- You will head to Bastille, symbol of French Revolution and emancipation of French people.

- Then you will visit the biggest street market in Paris only opened on Sundays. Once there, you will have the chance to observe, feel and taste all of French food delightfulness before your eyes. If you decide to buy some food souvenirs, you will leave the street market with some famous French fois gras, some organic products, some French cheese and bread and some cooked meats. Every Sunday Parisians come to this market to buy their groceries like fruits and vegetables, meat, fresh fish, spices, clothes, kitchenware, organic products as well as some foreign products from Italy, Spain, Lebanon, China or even Creole products. Your private guide will explain you the subtleties of French gastronomy and Parisians eating habits. Yield to the temptation to eat some Macaroons or Chichi. They are delicious!

- Time for a bicycle drive. Your guide will guide you through a safe cycle lane towards the Jemmapes’ bank and its romantic canal! This drive has no extra charges and it lasts around 20 minutes. It is optional if you prefer not to ride a bicycle.

In the afternoon:
- Lunchtime at Marais district. There you will have the chance and try all kind of specialties from around the world (French, American, Lebanese, Italian, Jewish, and fusion food). Your private guide will show you the best places to eat according to your likes. The choice is yours!

- Marais district visit: its vast number of town houses, narrow mazes, trendy boutiques and shops, art galleries, the Center George Pompidou, Rosiers street...

- Your private guide will take you to the Seine to reach the Île de la Cité where a small Gaulish tribe known as the Parisii lived around 52 BC Paris took its name from this tribe.

- Once arrived at the square facing Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral, your private guide will explain you the different building techniques used and the almost 200 years that were necessary to build it. You will think inevitably of Victor Hugo’s novel or the famous Disney movie.

- After this stop, will pass through the La Huchette street to discover all the tempting Greek restaurants in this area before we finally get to the Place Saint Michel and its magnificent fountain.

- Not far from this Place, crossing Saint Germain Boulevard, we will go to the Gallo-roman baths known as Thermes de Cluny in the heart of the Latin Quarter. These Baths date from the 1st century AD being the biggest of Lutèce−name given to Paris by Romans.

- Our next step will be the famous well-known worldwide university Sorbonne. Your private guide will explain you its eventful history throughout the centuries.

- Right after, your private guide will lead you to the Pantheon where writers and scientists who made France famous rest together.

- This great journey will end up at the Luxembourg gardens. These French gardens will allow you to have a rest on a sunny day while visiting the Senate or even attending to a puppet's show.

To come back home with a very meaningful souvenir, do not forget to ask for the personalized Champagne glasses with your names and proposal date on them!
For just 75 Euros, an artisan from the Parisian region will make them for you.
You are requested to order them at least 2 weeks prior to arrival.

English or French guided visits.
Your private visit includes:

• Full support during the whole visit by a private guide who will show you the most romantic places in Paris
• The proposal in front of the Eiffel Tower (or any other place you prefer in Paris)
• Two glasses of Champagne to commemorate your love
• From 60 to 90 pictures taken by your guide during the journey in front of the most beautiful monuments in Paris. They will be sent by e-mail 48 hours after your visit in a JPG format
• The video of your proposal that will be sent by e-mail 48 hours after your visit
• A donation to Planète Urgence association to plant a tree at a devastated place by the Tsunami
• The booking, upon demand, of restaurants and hotel you want stay in.

Your private visit does NOT include : transportation fees, the entrance tickets, meals, drinks, snacks and any other supplementary service as well as your personal buying.

It is important to clarify that your private guide will be by your side throughout the visit apart from lunchtime and some other moments in order to let you both live your romance in private!
